WTCB participates in ILS Life Science Summit 2024
BRIC Institute of Life Sciences (BRIC-ILS), Bhubaneswar conducted Life Science Startup Summit – 2024 at BRIC - ILS Bhubaneswar on October 4th and 5th 2024. This event acted as an innovation platform to bring together researchers, innovators, startups, investors, corporations, policy makers, public institutions, academia, financial institutions, and startup ecosystem organizations to cooperate, collaborate, and conglomerate for the regional and national socio-economic growth through a strong startup economy with emphasis on BioE3.
Prof. Rajesh S. Gokahle, Secretary, Department of Biotechnology (DBT) inaugurated the summit.
Ms. Nimeshika Natarajan, Assistant Director, World Trade Center Bhubaneswar attended 3rd  day of the session on 5th October as a panelist to speak about the export potential of Odisha and the role of WTC Bhubaneswar in enhancing Export scenario of the state. In her address, she highlighted Odisha’s strength in Agri and Food Processing Sector, Potential Agro products from the state, role of Export Promotion Councils, Odisha’s Export Ecosystem and incentives under Odisha Export Policy 2022. She also deliberated on the Air Cargo Facility, BPIA Bhubaneswar and Sea Cargo Facility, Paradip Port.
The summit was held from 3rd to 5th October 2024 at ILS Bhubaneswar.
