NEW YORK, NY, USA - World Trade Centers Association, Inc. (WTCA) has named Alexander Brown (Alex) as its new Director of Communications and Member Relations. With more than 15 years of experience positioning brands, organizations and thought leaders, Brown is charged with spearheading organizational strategy in both of these two important areas.
WTCA’s CEO, Scott Ferguson, said, “We are delighted to bring Alex on as our new Director to help us tell our global story, which in turn supports our members as they unleash the power of the ‘World Trade Center’ brand to foster local commerce, and help their communities thrive.”
Before joining WTCA Brown worked at a boutique integrated communications agency providing strategic counsel to local, regional and global brands and executives. Alex holds a Master of Science in Strategic Communications from Columbia University in New York City, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Brown’s first responsibility is to streamline WTCA communications, events and member services by integrating these functions into one seamless team. At the same time he will work alongside senior leadership, members and key stakeholders to elevate the profile of WTCA as the premier brand and network for those in the vanguard of international trade.
