BOGOTĂ, COLOMBIA - The Regional Development Managerâs Office for Latin America is pleased to announce the continuous and growing dynamics of the Latin American World Trade Centers and wants to share with the WTCA Community, the most important events that took place in our Region during the last month:
WTC BUCARAMANGA - PACIFIC ALLIANCE EVENT - August 4 and 5, 2016.
More than 450 companies met on August 4 and 5 in Bucaramanga in a successful event where businessmen and entrepreneurs from different sectors had the opportunity to assist to more than 20 international lectures from speakers from the countries of the Pacific Alliance and invited countries such as Argentina, Canada, and Brazil.
Several business opportunities were exposed, along with the benefits that this economic Alliance brings to Latin America. With the participation of the ambassadors of Chile, Peru and Mexico, the academic day ended successfully opening a Business Matchmaking Session, where local businessmen had the opportunity to meet and generate business opportunities, which as of today already exceed 500 thousand dollars in deals closed.
Under the organization of World Trade Center Bucaramanga, that has already shown as the best organization contributing to the internationalization of Bucaramanga, a very positive balance creating opportunities for future events:

WTC BUENOS AIRES - âPromoting Business Opportunitiesâ August 18
WTC Buenos Aires gave the second conference of the Cycleâ Promoting Business Opportunitiesâ which was declared of social interest by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires. This time we had the honor of having the presence of Mr. Dante Sica, director and founder of âACEBEBâ with the lecture âArgentina: New Opportunities & How to Seize Themâ.
Throughout this cycle, WTC Buenos Aires seeks to offer its guests an ideal environment to expand their business horizons and to expand their network. After the conference, there was a cocktail reception in which participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas with the lecturer and fraternize with other members, businessmen and top executives of Argentina.
Inauguration of âWTC Ibague Business Centerâ
On August 18, the WTC Ibague Business Center located at the Aqcua Power Center Mall opened. Diana Villaveces, Executive Director of WTC Ibague, explained that this Business Center offers different services and benefits for entrepreneurs and businessmen and that it promotes trade and investment internationally.
The event was a success! Participants from the local conglomerates and entrepreneurs celebrated the opening of the Business Center. A conference led by the Director of Latin American Sales Center gave tools to the assistants on how to build an effective strategy and a system of sales increasing.
WTC BogotĂĄ and the RDMâs Office for Latin America accompanied this important event and the Business Center is thriving in their efforts to improve business and trade in Ibague.
