World Trade Month is an initiative to highlight U.S. trade relationships with local and national trade events. As the World Trade Center in Washington, DC, part of the Reagan Building’s mission is to facilitate and enhance the exchange of goods and services in the international marketplace. Through events, the WTC Washington, D.C. fosters international dialogue and raises public awareness of the economic benefits that can be realized through trade.
The WTC Washington, D.C. regularly hosts events that focus on trade, business and where they intersect. The building’s Office for Trade Promotion (OTP) spearheads this year-round effort by working with different organizations, embassies, trade associations, think tanks and educational institutions to offer a mixture of signature programs. The OTP collaborates with clients to achieve their strategic goals and objectives by providing event coordination and promotion. Developing these key partnerships fosters international dialogue, generates business opportunities and raises public awareness of the economic benefits that can be realized through trade.
