WTC Seoul hosts new job fair for Middle-aged PMEs

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA - WTC Seoul hosted “2016 Job Fair for the Middle-aged” at the COEX on June 7th 2016.

45 companies participated in this event creating 600 on-site job interviews for middle-aged job seekers with a variety of work experiences. The idea was to provide opportunities for the companies to hire experienced workers and middle-aged job seekers to have the chance to be re-employed as a professional.

Hoon-Ki Lee; the event participant commented “I’m out here hoping to find a new career opportunity because I just got laid off last year in my late 50s, and I don’t want to be a burden to my children.”

On-site job interviews were scheduled according to the systematic matching service provided by KITA (Korea International Trade Association), and this event will continue until the end of this month through online platform.
