NOIDA, INDIA - In pursuit of the leading role WTC Noida and VERBIND-the trade services arm of WTC Noida; plays in facilitating investment and trade with rest of the world; Ms. Khair Ull Nissa, Executive Director of WTC went on a business-week visit to China; advancing the commitment for promotion of trade and business focused on matchmaking opportunities and for joining hands in transforming the prospective business relations towards building a domain of superlative commercial ties between India and China and fostering investment in India through the ‘Make In India’ campaign.
The visit held great significance as these two Asian Giants present unique opportunity for investment facilitation between them as well as expediting Chinese investors to explore the burgeoning Indian market and economy.
The meeting of WTC Noida and WTC Beijing officials which took place for the exclusive purpose of joining hands to bolster and foster mutual business ties and cooperation; Ms. Khair met with Mr. Zhang Gang, the Vice-Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council (CCPIT Beijing) and agreed upon a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to commemorate the same. The other officials present at the meeting included Ms. Yuan Yan, Deputy Director of WTC Beijing, Mr. Li Xiaoyuan, Director of International Relations Department along with Ms. Carol Gong of CCPIT Beijing.
The meeting was very constructive and a lot of issues were deliberated and cooperation on many issues were discussed. Along with the MoU to enhance the cooperation, WTC Beijing agreed upon facilitating trade information and cooperation through bilateral investments and trade facilities in the countries in sectors like construction, infrastructure, electronics, Information and technology and financial sector. Both parties will be organizing delegation visits through international exhibition and conference as well as providing trade information, cultural exchange and other services. The officials of WTC Beijing also emphasized their keenness to mutually work for Women Entrepreneurship cooperation and Smart Cities projects to further strengthen economic and trade development and cooperation.
An assurance was also made to act as a holistic partner and trade harbinger for both the countries. WTC Noida and WTC Beijing accentuated in acting as a bridge to provide diversified trade related agendas like bilateral investments between the countries.
The trade relations between both the countries which will further strengthen.
