NAVI MUMBAI, INDIA - WTC Navi Mumbai was specially invited at a national level Workshop on “ Sustainable Growth through SMEs emPOWERment “ organised by the Indian Electricals and Electronics Manufacturers Association at Navi Mumbai on August 6, 2016 . As many as 75 delegates attended this important workshop representing industry and exports community.
WTC Navi Mumbai was specially invited to participate and share its services and activities for international business development for the benefit of participants. WTC Advisor Mr. Jayant Ghate explained the concept of a WTC and the important role played by the WTC Navi Mumbai in trade and investment promotion. He also highlighted the significance of WTCs movement and the WTCA efforts in development of WTC Brand.
In his speech Mr. Ghate touched upon the Indian electrical and electronics industry , its market and output , share in world exports , imports and technology needs. He addressed the Session on “ International Business Opportunities for SMEs: Marketing , Quality and Certifications “ moderated by Mr. J G Kulkarni , Past Chairman of IEEMA . During his speech Mr. Ghate elaborated upon how WTC can empower the SMEs in moving upwards in the global supply chain.
The Workshop was addressed by eminent experts on technical , marketing and management aspects. Besides, new innovative approaches were presented by the panellists for the benefit of the participants. This was the first of the series of workshops IEEMA plans to organise all over India for the benefit of SMEs sector.
