WTC Moscow hosts SAS Russia 2016 Forum

On May 27th in World Trade Center Moscow took place the opening of SAS Russia 2016 Forum – the biggest event on Business Intelligence in Russia and the CIS.

2016 is an anniversary year for the Forum for it is held for the tenth time. Over the years, the Forum has become important platform for the analytical community as a source for discussing trends of business development and analytics, as well as a place to share experiences and ideas and emerge new projects.

Big data, Internet of Things (IoT), user-friendly interface, analytics in the cloud – SAS Russia 2016 Forum is fully reflective of the impact of technological and informational changes on emerging of new challenges, new tools and business opportunities. In recent years, the approach to data analysis has changed significantly. There are new concepts designed to make people's lives richer, safer and more convenient. All of the abovementioned topics are to be covered in various reports, workshops and special presentations at the Forum which attracted about 100 participants this year – a lot more than in previous years.

The Forum’s opening was marked by plenary meeting where the main trends in the field of data analysis as well as key SAS projects in Russia and the CIS over the past year were presented. “For our part, we will make every possible effort to work in line with you, with the companies that are here today. We are very determinate in this respect. I wish you a good day, interesting presentations and interesting subjects!” – greeted the audience Valeriy Pankratov, CEO of SAS Russia / CIS.

Among SAS customers in Russia and the CIS there are 10 largest Russian banks, such as: Sberbank of Russia, VTB, Gazprombank and others, Russian Railways, “Aeroflot”, biggest companies of telecommunications and energy sector, state organizations.
