Carving a brighter future for MSMEs
World MSME Day 2024 was organized on 27 June 2024 by World Trade Center Goa along with the MSME Development & Facilitation Office Goa (MSME DFO) , Goa State Industries Association (GSIA) EDC Ltd ( Government of Goa) and Goa Technology Association (GTA) Ms. Swetika Sachan, IAS, Secretary, Industries, Trade & Commerce, Government of Goa, addressed the delegates on the new initiatives that the Government of Goa has implemented for development of MSMEs in Goa. Other prominent Goan Industry leaders who also addressed the delegates, included Mr. B. S. Angle, Managing Director, EDC Ltd, Mr. Rajkumar Kamat, Executive Director BNI Goa, Mr. D R Johari, Assistant Director, MSME DFO, Mr. Sujeet Shetty, President, GTA, Mr. Vinay Verma, Honorary Secretary, Vibrant Goa Foundation and Mr. Cyril Desouza, Assistant Director - Trade Promotion, World Trade Center Goa Presentations on various Financial schemes and Technology adaptation for MSMES were ably done by Mr. John De Souza, Deputy General Manager, EDC Ltd, Mr. D. R. Johari, Assistant Director, MSME DFO and Mr Sujeet Shetty, President, GTA.Â
The Event Highlighted the upcoming Global Economic Summit (GES) Which is dedicated to Fintech and will be organized from 8th to 10th August 2024 by WTC Mumbai.
