TICC Earns GBAC STARâ„¢ Facility Accreditation
The Taipei International Convention Center recently obtained the GBAC STARâ„¢ Facility Accreditation. GBAC is a division of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association that introduced the latest hygiene standards certification for responding to biohazard crisis in facilities such as airports, train stations, hotels, public places, and exhibition halls following the global spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Currently, around 1,700 GBAC STARâ„¢ accreditations have been issued worldwide. This accreditation signifies Taipei International Convention Center's commitment to elevating and meeting the high standards of international health and safety control, providing a secure and high-quality conference venue. The TICC is the first conference venue in Taiwan that has achieved GBAC STARâ„¢ certification. Other venues in Taiwan that have obtained this accreditation include the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center and the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
