ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - The Sino-Dutch Industrial Cooperation Park in Jiashan (China) was at the heart of the The Hague Rotterdam metropolis network event at WTC Rotterdam last Tuesday April 19. The 65 km2 Sino-Dutch business park is currently under construction in the Jiashan delta, close to Shanghai.
The Sino-Dutch Industrial Cooperation Park will be a dynamic platform that will stimulate investment and trade between the Netherlands and China. It will inject new energy into the economy and development of trade between the two countries. Several Dutch companies, such as Heineken and Akzo Nobel, will be located at the business park.
Visitors to the network event received much information about the business park in Jiashan. Among the presentations were those given by the Chinese Ambassador in the Netherlands; the Mayor of Jiashan; and the International Director of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. A Chinese delegation from Jiashan was also available for one-to-one discussions.
