LIBERTY COUNTY, GA, USA – The Liberty County Development Authority (LCDA), a World Trade Center Savannah partner, announced that Liberty County has received two honors in the “Best of Georgia” list published by Southern Business & Development magazine. Located on the coast of Georgia, the county is being recognized for its proximity to the Port of Savannah and its suitability for aerospace.
“We were elated to learn that our county is featured among the ‘Best Small Market Aerospace Location’ and ‘Best Industrial Sites Close to the Port of Savannah’ lists,” said LCDA CEO Ronald Tolley in an interview with Savannah Business Journal. These accolades support the industrial recruitment efforts of LCDA and highlight the continued success within the region.
Designations were awarded in accordance with a survey of current and former Secretaries of Commerce of Southern states, educators, economists, consultants, and local economic developers. The “Best of Georgia” list is among a “Best of Economic Development in the American South” series and is in its inaugural year. This publication currently circulates over 12,000 issues across North America.
