International DĂ©cor Outlet locates in Georgia

Dec 21, 2015

DARIEN, GA, USA – On December 8, the International Décor Outlet (IDO) held their first annual Home Improvement and Décor Conference, an event which provided an opportunity for the community to meet with manufacturers and learn more about IDO. The event occurred only a few months after World Trade Center Savannah partner, McIntosh County Industrial Development Authority, announced IDO would occupy the Darien Mall located in McIntosh County, midway between Jacksonville, Florida and Savannah, Georgia. The International Décor Outlet is the first direct-to-consumer outlet for manufacturers and retailers of interior decor and home improvement materials in the United States. Approximately 50-100 manufacturers from around the world are expected to open storefronts at IDO’s Darien Mall location within the first two years.

“This will become a destination wholesale and retail center for the home décor and home improvement industry,” said Sarah Verus, Business Development Director of IDO. “Contractors from all over the southeastern United States, such as North and South Carolina, Alabama and Florida, will be coming here to purchase the highest quality products at astounding discounts. Expect to see a lot of activity, and a lot of new families coming to coastal Georgia.”

The outlet expects to have a Grand Opening in early 2016.
