On 22 April 2024, the Sofitel Hotel in Algiers hosted a high-level technical day entitled “Algerian-Swiss Partnership: Opportunities & Perspectives”. This event is organized jointly by the Swiss-Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the World Trade Center Algiers.
In a world facing the pressing challenges of environmental protection and the energy transition, this conference highlighted Algeria’s resolute commitment to finding sustainable solutions. With a population exceeding 45 million and endowed with abundant natural resources, Algeria is positioned as a key player in the implementation of innovative environmental and energy strategies.
The program, led by the Ministry of Energy Transition and Environmental Protection, opens promising prospects for companies mastering advanced technologies and wishing to invest in this sector. Algeria, with its significant potential for photovoltaic power generation, is seeking to establish strategic partnerships in various areas, including waste management, which remains a national priority.
