MONTEVIDEO, URUGUAY - WTC Montevideo Free Zone ended 2016 with successful experiences, providing its community of clients and all those who work in the tower a comprehensive portfolio of services.
"Our Training Zone", the calendar of courses and training activities, was so well-attended that the team of professionals in charge of it felt encouraged to continue collaborating in our community’s training. The Practical Approach to Free Trade Zones and Global Services course, held in Meeting Room 3 from November 7 to December 5, was conducted by Cr. Ignacio Del, Dr. Alejandro Theodosopoulos, Mario Tucci and Cr. Eduardo RodrĂguez, who contributed with their professional expertise by approaching and analyzing practical aspects of management related to Operators and Users of Free Trade Zones.
The course also included a module about the characteristics and the history of the global services industry, its objectives and advantages, the outsourcing models, etc. The opportunity of sharing experiences and success stories of clients operating from WTC Montevideo Free Zone added value to the course.
Within this period, four editions of “The Four Jobs of a Boss” workshops organized by Xn Partners were also held at Tempus, WTC 4’s meeting room, and at Hilton Garden Inn. They were conducted by Enrique Baliño, Ing. Gonzalo Noya and Ing. Diego Kenny. The events reached maximum capacity so, jointly with Xn Partners, we are already organizing a full program that will be implemented in 2017 and launched during the second half of February when Our Training Zone calendar of courses will be presented.
For 2017, we are planning to incorporate new service offers intended for our community. To this end, we will implement a program comprising different service units which will help define communication strategies, events organization, strategic content, training activities, contributions to Corporate Social Responsibility and Wellness Programs.
These services will be added to the existing portfolio of professional services that are currently provided to all the members of World Trade Center Montevideo community within the complex by WTC Montevideo Free Zone.
