BEIJING, CHINA - China World Hotel and China World Summit Wing, the two five-star hotels owned by WTC China Beijing are honored to receive the Best Team awards in the 15th Beijing Capital Tourism Forbidden City Cup program in August 2016. Executive Pastry Chef Jonathan Wu of China World Hotel and Senior Western Banquet Chef Jeffery Du of China World Summit Wing won the Outstanding Individuals awards under the same program. Senior executives of the two hotels attended the award presentation ceremony chaired by Vice Mayor of Beijing Ms. Chen Hong.
It is the seventh award in a row for China World Hotel in the same program and marks the first time China World Summit Wing to win such award since its opening 6 years ago.
The award program, known as the highest recognition for Beijing’s tourism industry, is widely covered in CCTV and other media. It is recognition of outstanding achievements made by tourism industry players within the past three years in areas like serving and supporting the 2014 APEC meeting in Beijing, the 2015 World Championships in Athletics, as well as China’s Military Parade Ceremony in Commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory of the World Anti-Fascism War.
