TAIPEI, TAIWAN - The 4th Myanmar International Auto Parts & Accessories Exhibition 2016 (Auto Expo Myanmar 2016) is set to take place at Tatmadaw Hall, Yangon from Sept. 29 to Oct. 2. The show will feature the latest auto innovations, including automotive parts and accessories, automobile electronics, engine parts, motorcycle parts and accessories, repair and maintenance tools, wheels and tires and rims.
Jointly organized by the Taipei World Trade Center, and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co, Auto Expo Myanmar 2016 is expected to welcome over 5,000 visitors and feature more than 120 domestic and international exhibitors across 150 booths. Among the show's key international exhibitors will be high-profile enterprises from Taiwan, Japan, Korea, China and Vietnam.
One of the show's major highlights will be the impressive lineup of aftermarket products offered by Taiwanese exhibitors, including bumpers and headlights. The global aftermarket of the two products are currently led by Taiwanese makers at 90% and 70% market shares, respectively. The offers by Taiwanese exhibitors are expected to fully meet the demands of the Myanmar market.
In addition to auto parts, the show will feature Taiwan's electronic innovations for the auto market, including power and electrical equipment, electronic components, generators, motors and pumps, power supplies and cables and wires.
The 2016 show is expected to build on the success of the 2015 Auto Expo Myanmar which welcomed 5,000 international buyers from 16 countries (including Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam and the US). Moreover, 957 business meetings were held during the 2015 event, which generated an estimated total of US$3 million in business with US$20 million in follow-up deals.
