The Georgia-Japan relationship is strong and bound for future growth. In 2020, Georgia’s exports to Japan totaled $1.24 billion, with top commodities including aircraft, gas turbines, medical instruments, chemical wood pulp, and kaolin. Similarly, Japan ranks fifth among Georgia’s importer nations with $5.88 billion in imports in 2020.
