Allyson Browne McKithen, Executive Director, World Trade Center Washington, D.C.

Ms. Allyson McKithen is the Executive Director of the World Trade Center, Washington DC and Vice President of International Programs at Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA), a privately held, wholly owned subsidiary of the Boston based Drew Company. TCMA serves as the full-service, property management company for the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRB/ITC). It is also designated as the official World Trade Center of Washington, DC (WTCDC) which is part of the global network of the Centers with affiliates in over 90 countries around the world.

As Executive Director, Ms. McKithen leads the World Trade Center, Washington, DC. In this capacity Ms. McKithen guides the global mission of the Center by leading international trade missions, fosters diplomatic relations, develops international and cultural initiatives, conducts business international development, and leads strategic partnerships with both private sector entities and US and foreign government agencies.

With Ms. McKithen at the helm of the World Trade Center, Washington, DC, she is responsible for driving the Congressional mandate of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center and for positioning the Center to be Washington’s focal point for a wide array of in-person and hybrid international trade, cultural and educational programming. She has been the creative force behind the development and execution of Winternational, an Annual Embassy Showcase bridging the DC community with the Diplomatic corps. This campaign evolved into a one-of-a-kind DC experience attracting more then 90 embassy participants and engagement from thousands over a decade.

During the pandemic period she was responsible for the pivotal transition to division’s virtual programs including, “A Seat at the Table, Women in Global Leadership”, “Perspectives on Trade” and Winternational, a Virtual Marketplace.

Previously, Ms. McKithen served as the Senior Account Executive for Washington Link, a premier event company where she directed a team of event planners providing life-cycle event consulting services to corporate, association and international clients.

While at Events Unlimited Inc as Principal, she led the event operations of this management consulting firm serving corporate and association clients.
