Mar 25, 2016

LAS VEGAS, NV, USA - Representatives from the WTC Las Vegas met with representatives from the WTC Sao Paulo and WTC Ft. Lauderdale during the inaugural WTC Ft. Lauderdale board meeting on February 25, 2016. During the meeting, the three World Trade Centers signed a Memorandum of Understanding that creates a pathway for each organization to work together to advance trade and tourism between their respective regions.

Chris Meyer and Cindy Hoag of WTC Las Vegas joined forces with Marcos Aguirre of WTC Ft. Lauderdale and Bruno Bomeny of WTC Sao Paulo to commit to:

  • Regularly scheduled exchanges of trade delegations, trade-related information and management expertise;
  • Jointly develop and sponsor conferences and seminars on doing business in each other’s respective regions;
  • Mutually promote each other’s WTC facilities and services as well as tourism and international business exchange opportunities;
  • Work together to enhance airline linkages between the three regions.

Sao Paulo and Ft. Lauderdale join a growing list of WTCs who have signed Memoranda of Understanding with the WTC Las Vegas, to the mutual benefit of all. These include World Trade Centers in Montevideo, Taipei, Seoul, Miami, Brussels, Beijing, Mexico City, Istanbul and Dulles Airport.
